Downfall of Mankind

Got To Write

I watch a movie. I got to write.

I see the news. I got to write.

I do my homework. I got to write!

It has come to my attention that I have to write. I see, I do, I write. Unfortunately, it seems I can only write about things that make me mad. I would love to change that, but it isn’t the writing that calls me, it is telling the world my opinion. I know, I am just one person, I am but one man, insignificant. Why is that?

Why can one man not make a difference anymore? What happen to the time of Churchill and Hitler? I think one man can, so I write. I know my opinion will go unheard… abated, but that will not stop me. I will write, no matter the adversity, no matter the danger of speaking an opinion. I beg you America, write. Write your ills and happiness. Tell the world what you want them to hear. Our world is turning to dust, insignificant dust. Does that not upturn up?

I realize my writings are one sided, even hateful at times. That isn’t the point. What does America think, not you and me, America. Why can we not stand up with one voice and say, “This is what I think!”? Now… I have told you what I think, but what about you? Stand up. Speak. Sitting there and watching this world isn’t going to help anyone.
